About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, further develop, and scale the software and data platform
Shape architecture, interfaces, and technical standards
Develop scalable cloud software solutions across the frontend and backend
Translate business requirements from Operations, Engineering, and Business into robust software
Ensure quality, performance, and security throughout the entire lifecycle
Continuously improve technical standards, code quality, and best practices
Collaborate with external partners and integrate external interfaces, such as energy management, IoT, and GIS systems
Mentor and provide technical support to members of the development team
Work closely with Engineering and Operations to digitally model energy projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience in software development
Experience designing, building, and operating cloud backend systems, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including Infrastructure as Code
Very strong knowledge of Java, TypeScript, and React
Solid understanding of software architecture and Clean Code principles
A high degree of ownership and willingness to take responsibility within the team
Analytical and structured approach to work, along with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
Very good German language skills; C1 level or higher is a plus
Good English language skills
Interest in energy data, IoT systems, or GIS integration is a plus
