About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Turn Florida's game design CTE standards into student lessons
  • Build in-engine activities in Endstar for Game & Simulation Foundations and Game & Simulation Design
  • Write lessons, assessments and teacher guides aligned to Florida curriculum frameworks
  • Create Unity bridge lessons preparing students for Unity Certified User exams
  • Record short screen-capture tutorials for classroom use
  • Communicate teacher and student needs to the platform team
  • Complete paid Endstar onboarding, including training, a CTE product-lead walkthrough and building a short game
  • Potentially continue the engagement into spring 2027

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least two years teaching high school game design, game programming or game art
  • Unity experience and ability to teach it to the Unity Certified User level
  • Curriculum or lessons written and used by other teachers
  • Availability for 15 to 20 hours a week through the end of 2026
  • Florida CTE experience is ideal
  • Experience with Florida's game design curriculum frameworks, or students who passed Unity or Certiport exams
  • A Unity certification, Lua or visual scripting, Blender, or experience with Roblox, Minecraft Education or Endstar
  • Experience as a CTE lead teacher, coordinator or administrator
  • Include a brief description of qualifications and one sample unit or lesson written
