About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define the strategy and manage daily activities of Par Health’s supply chain processes
  • Own planning for all business segments, external manufacturing, logistics, and the IBP Process
  • Manage supply chain operations across approximately 200 products and deploy internally and externally sourced materials across the supply network
  • Manage short-term planning, long-term business continuity, and network strategy objectives
  • Establish and maintain high customer service levels (UFR/OTIF)
  • Facilitate the IBP Process and align financial, operational, and commercial objectives
  • Work with Procurement and Quality to establish supplier performance and risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage operational inventory, stocking levels, future requirements, cash, and turns
  • Manage transportation logistics, trade compliance, and import/export practices
  • Lead teamwork, collaboration, coaching, counseling, retention, mentoring, training, talent management, and personal development
  • Drive accountability and results through strategy deployment and performance management
  • Travel to meetings and plant visits as needed
  • Report to the COO and manage multiple direct reports
  • Collaborate with senior leaders in R&D, Operations, and Commercial

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or materials management or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8–10 years' logistics/supply chain/manufacturing work experience
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory/management capacity required
  • APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management, Six Sigma and Lean Expert preferred
  • Strong leadership qualities including interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage conflict effectively
  • Ability to respond innovatively and flexibly to a rapidly changing environment while achieving organizational and budgetary goals
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) practices and systems
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Segmentation Analysis and impacts/tradeoffs with Volume, Variety and Volatility
  • JD Edwards/BPCS/JDA/SAP (Blue Yonder) Planning Suite experience strongly desired
  • Practical experience implementing lean technologies and concepts
  • Demonstrated competence with Windows and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to plants
  • Approximately 25% travel
