About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define quality requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Leverage BDD frameworks to create readable and maintainable test scenarios, using Cucumber, Spec Flow, or similar tools
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to drive resolution
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable automatic test execution
  • Maintain detailed test documentation and report on test progress and outcomes
  • Test through the entire project lifecycle, including test case development, execution, and verification
  • Track and report software defects and verify resolved issues in a ticket tracking application
  • Assist in ongoing process improvement for test case management
  • Provide testing progress and continuous risk assessment during the Testing phase
  • Support validation efforts by acquiring evidence during testing and generating validation reports at cycle end
  • Lead individual projects and act as the main point of contact/escalation for the testing team
  • Use in-depth product knowledge to anticipate client needs and address complex issues
  • Provide guidance and set priorities for the Test Engineer on the project

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-6 years’ experience working in software testing/ Quality Assurance
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual & automation)
  • Good experience in Playwright
  • Familiarity with any programming language such as Java or C# or Typescript
  • Basic knowledge of web applications and how they work
  • Basic understanding of SQL and databases is an advantage
  • Completed graduation in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
