About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, recommend, and assist in the design of local, remote, and cloud computer systems
Oversee day-to-day operation of computer networks and evaluate system performance
Assist in maintaining the security of routers and servers
Research and recommend network hardware and software, including telecommunications methods and protocols
Maintain LAN, internet, DNS, and database systems
Manage physical and cloud-based network storage
Develop and maintain archiving procedures
Aid in general IT administrative duties and end-user support
Analyze and troubleshoot network logs and track problem nature and resolution
Monitor usage to ensure data security and access privileges
Monitor data to optimize network performance and resolve critical network failures
Troubleshoot performance and security issues
Resolve problems reported by end users
Support system maintenance across physical and cloud environments
Adhere to established security protocols
Deploy OCONUS and provide hands-on support as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires relocation to or residence in the Tampa, FL area
Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
Able to deploy OCONUS, if necessary, to hostile fire areas
BS and 1-3 years of experience
Able to work shiftwork as required by the customer
Able to lift 50 lbs
2+ years of Azure cloud management experience (preferred)
Microsoft Azure Certifications (preferred)
CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
2+ years of systems administration experience (preferred)
Experience in the application of standard DOD STIG packages and remediation of functional or performance issues (preferred)
