About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead data collection and integration projects within the payments domain
Develop and maintain performance reports for payments analytics
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into payment performance, transaction volumes, and other indicators
Identify opportunities to optimize payment processes and reduce operational costs, working with Payment Ops and Product teams to optimize payment routing and reduce payment failures
Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Collaborate with Finance, Customer Support, and Product Development teams to address payment-related challenges and opportunities
Perform ad-hoc analysis and research to answer specific business questions and support decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 4/5+ years of experience in business analytics in finance, banking, consulting, accounting, or similar sectors
Exposure to payments data (PSP, acquiring, or risk systems) is a strong plus
Working knowledge of the payments stack is a strong plus
Advanced SQL, with an ambition to improve
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to identify and suggest improvements in the payments domain by analyzing transactional, business, and market data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and translate data findings into actionable recommendations, especially for non-technical stakeholders
Precise and well-structured when delivering analyses and reports
Ability to independently build structured dashboards (Databricks, Tableau, or similar BI tools) is a nice to have
Experience building AI-powered refreshable/scheduled reports is a nice to have
Good English level is required; proficiency is preferred
