Key responsibilities & impact

Take diagnostic ownership of checkout funnel health, surfacing alerts, insights, and defects before they become business-critical
Lead root-cause investigations distinguishing engineering defects from user-behavior patterns
Communicate findings clearly to relevant stakeholders
Support reporting to cross-functional teams, translating data into insights that improve authorization rate and conversion
Analyze authorization rate, decline codes, and multi-PSP performance to identify high-impact funnel bottlenecks
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud on funnel issues and processor outages
Develop into a trusted point of contact for payment funnel health

Requirements

What you’ll need

Payments funnel literacy: interchange, decline codes, FX, tokenization, 3DS, fraud fundamentals
Demonstrated root-cause analysis on funnel drop-off or decline patterns — technical vs. behavioral
Able to translate complex data and customer-behavior insights for audiences without deep technical or domain context
SQL fluency for independent investigation
Self-serve BI/dashboard tool familiarity for personal investigation speed
Experience navigating ambiguity in a fast-changing or high-growth environment
Multi-PSP comparative analysis experience
Good English level required; proficiency preferred
