About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Improve and standardize well services operations, tool calibration and maintenance, operational safety procedures, warehousing organization, and document management
- Participate in developing Integrated Well Services quality standards, operating procedures, equipment performance and design standards, and project/program approval criteria
- Perform well testing and logging activities including CIC, DHV, XY Caliper, PTS, well stimulation by air compression, well quenching, WHR, and discharge testing
- Operate, drive, calibrate, and maintain survey trucks, quenching units, air compressor packages, calibrating baths, downhole tools, welding machines, generators, survey gears, discharge gears, data loggers, transmitters, and pressure gauges
- Facilitate third-party testing and calibration of tools and equipment
- Lead and coordinate site inspections, preparations, and operational setup
- Organize operational requirements, checklists, and journey management routes for equipment mobilization across EDC sites
- Plan, organize, monitor, and provide technical assistance for assigned Well Services activities
- Evaluate equipment issues and recommend mitigations and solutions
- Assist the Well Services Engineer with tools and equipment preparation
- Update the immediate superior on activity status
- Review well test and wireline data, analyze anomalies, and submit findings to the Well Services Engineer
- Provide manpower support and technical assistance to Resource Management, Drilling, FT&S, and other groups
- Evaluate third-party service providers in accordance with corporate policies
- Collect and record operational data and provide information for reports
- Maintain safety document records
- Prepare mobilization and equipment-transfer documentation, including JMP and STW
- Manage inventory of well testing, wireline, and well intervention equipment, tools, spare parts, and supplies
- Plan and manage resource utilization
- Prepare CMMS and Kiss Flow requests and maintain activity records
- Receive, inspect, and label deliveries
- Evaluate and recommend technical specifications for purchased tools and equipment
- Participate in identified learning programs and complete performance accomplishment reports
- Ensure regulatory compliance and safety of personnel, equipment, contractors, communities, and the environment
- Plan safety requirements, oversee Competent Persons, verify hazard controls, and manage new hazards during execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must continuously maintain personal competence and authorization
- Must perform well testing/logging in accordance with quality standards, approved work schedules, and regulatory requirements
- Must operate, drive, calibrate, and maintain well services equipment
- Must ensure tools and equipment are fit for purpose and properly prepared and calibrated
- Must comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and company safety, health, and environmental policies
- Must follow safety protocols and issue stop-work orders for hazardous work
- Must secure PTW/STW and prepare JMP, JHA, job risk assessments, and related documents
- Must act as Nominated Supervisor under the EBSI Permitting system
- Must ensure Competent Persons are authorized and hazard controls are in place
- Must maintain accurate safety documentation and operational records
- Must be able to manage inventory, logistics, resources, and operational documentation
- Must use Central Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Kiss Flow (KF)
