About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Manage the enterprise financial planning system and maintain monthly activities
- Prepare monthly management and operations reporting packages
- Improve financial planning processes and reporting automation
- Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with department leaders to evaluate spending, headcount, and capital allocation
- Monitor cost trends and identify efficiency improvement opportunities
- Develop operational KPIs and management dashboards
- Support capital project reporting and cost tracking
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for strategic initiatives and investment decisions
- Assist with scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and business case evaluations
- Partner with business leaders across the global enterprise to provide actionable financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive operational and financial performance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 7-10+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, operational accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience
- Experience with ERP systems and planning tools
- Workday Adaptive Planning experience
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems, financial software, and business intelligence applications
- Proficiency or advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and financial models
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and evolving organizational needs
- Ability to manage and coordinate with team members across departments and around the global business
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
- Mining, energy, rare earth elements, metals making, magnet making, manufacturing, industrial, or field operations experience preferred
