About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage multi-faceted programs with device partners, clients, and internal teams
- Ensure seamless day-to-day program operations and keep client goals and needs central
- Manage internal and client expectations and prioritize program tasks using business judgment
- Understand and drive client objectives and growth targets
- Guide clients through decisions to design programs supporting their targets
- Partner with Sales on successful renewals and account expansions
- Creatively solve difficult situations and resolve operational challenges
- Analyze and present key results
- Facilitate meetings and deliver nuanced technical and data-driven messages to clients
- Maintain frequent communication with clients and device partners
- Support efficient program implementation, review ongoing needs, and provide timely solutions and recommendations
- Develop expertise in demand management, Distributed Energy Resources, and program success drivers
- Understand product and service offerings to communicate capabilities, shape program design, and train client program teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working in or with renewable energy, utilities, grid services or adjacent industries (cleantech / greentech) preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to describe complex and technical topics engagingly and succinctly
- Demonstrated success working directly with clients
- Project management experience, including multitasking, meeting deadlines, and assessing risk and dependencies
- Analytical, creative, and curious approach with confidence using numbers and spreadsheets
- Ability to build trust and outstanding client and partner relationships
- Good judgment in a business context
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience managing multiple high-priority projects
- BS or BA degree
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in technology services or customer success, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software
- Familiarity with EVs, batteries, connected devices, IoT, or building automation preferred
- Familiarity with Virtual Power Plant (VPP) programs and initiatives preferred
- Certifications in energy management, project management, or program management preferred
