About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage overall project execution and verify deliverable accuracy and adherence to project scope.
  • Coordinate with the commissioning team and project stakeholders to maintain alignment, meet client requirements, and execute the Cx scope efficiently.
  • Oversee project KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and maintain project health.
  • Maintain project budgets and manage resource utilization across multiple projects.
  • Create and manage the project scope tracker, resource calendar, and forecast.
  • Establish frequent project-status and execution tracking and reporting for clients and stakeholders.
  • Verify proposals and project scopes are clear, complete, and unambiguous.
  • Drive corrective actions when scope or performance gaps are identified.
  • Support the Cx Director and Business Development team by developing commissioning scopes of work and accurate task/project pricing.
  • Participate in new project interviews and pursue opportunities with potential project clients.
  • Train and mentor the commissioning team.
  • Provide input on commissioning standards and processes.
  • Lead or support commissioning tasks, including Owner’s Project Requirements, Cx design reviews, commissioning specifications and plans, functional testing, and owner training.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while upholding ENFRA’s owner advocacy philosophy and core values.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
  • 3+ years of commissioning or related experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, automatic temperature control systems, or building operation management experience.
  • Ability to interact professionally with the owner, owners representatives, contractors and design teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and general knowledge of the Company’s competitors.
  • Ability to multitask and identify task and project priorities to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
  • Registered Engineering Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PgMP, etc.) preferred.
  • Commissioning Certification (e.g. NEBB, ACG, BCxA, ASHRAE, etc.) preferred.
  • Competency with cloud-based commissioning software platforms preferred.
  • Ability to travel 25–40% of the time to job sites/office locations.
  • Ability to perform required physical activities, including climbing stairs/ladders/scaffolding, working in tight or confined spaces, operating machinery or power tools, and repetitive hand/wrist/finger motions.
  • Ability to perform medium work involving adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds.
