About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide overall direction for field installation of the assigned project
- Own direct responsibility for field labor, labor coordination, quality control, and safety
- Represent the Company on the project site and ensure installation functions as designed and satisfies the contracted scope
- Ensure quality installation of the project
- Work with Safety to ensure compliance with ENFRA Safety Policy and OSHA guidelines
- Review submittals for accuracy and compliance
- Identify potential change orders and discuss cost impacts with management so costs can be recovered
- Manage customer relations
- Conduct weekly safety meetings
- Schedule manpower with Admin staff, including timing for background checks and drug screens
- Interpret plumbing and HVAC drawings for craft installation
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions
- Perform material take-offs and order tools, materials, and equipment
- Ensure on-site employees comply with OSHA standards and company work rules
- Schedule equipment deliveries with the GC and periodic inspections by governing authorities
- Administer the construction contract
- Monitor labor reporting and job cost reviews; prepare timesheets and two-week look-ahead schedules
- Bring the job in on time and under budget
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have 10+ years superintendent commercial construction experience in Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC large projects
- Experience in the mechanical construction of large Data Center projects $10+ million
- Well versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors
- Communication and management skills to improve the team
- Team oriented, guides direct reports and works hand in hand with Admin personnel
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills in emails, Excel, Word, Procore and more
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- 0-5% travel to job site(s)/office location
- Ability to work a six-day work week, ten hours per day
- Ability to climb stairs and remain stationary, kneel, stand, or sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions
- Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
