About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct overall field installation of the assigned project
- Own responsibility for field labor, labor coordination, quality control, and safety
- Represent ENFRA at the project site and ensure installation functions as designed and meets contracted scope
- Ensure quality installation of the project
- Coordinate with Safety to ensure compliance with ENFRA Safety Policy and OSHA guidelines
- Review submittals for accuracy and compliance
- Identify potential change orders and discuss cost impacts with management
- Manage customer relations
- Conduct weekly safety meetings
- Schedule manpower with administrative staff, including timely completion of background checks and drug screens
- Interpret plumbing and HVAC drawings for craft installation
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions
- Perform material take-offs and order tools, materials, and equipment
- Ensure on-site employees comply with OSHA standards and company work rules
- Schedule equipment deliveries with the GC and periodic inspections by governing authorities
- Administer the construction contract
- Monitor labor reporting, review job costs, and prepare timesheets and two-week look-ahead schedules
- Complete the job on time and under budget
- Work a six-day, ten-hour-per-day schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of superintendent commercial construction experience in Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC large projects
- Experience in mechanical construction of large Data Center projects valued at $10+ million
- Industry and competitor knowledge
- Communication and management skills
- Team-oriented approach and ability to guide direct reports and work with Admin personnel
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills in email, Excel, Word, Procore, and more
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
- Ability to work a six-day work week, ten-hour-per-day shift
- Ability to comply with physical/work environment requirements, including climbing stairs, prolonged standing/sitting/kneeling, repetitive hand/wrist/finger motions, and moving objects up to 20 pounds
- 0–5% travel to job sites/office locations
