About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the entire project life cycle from inception through closure
Ensure safe project delivery within budget, schedule, and quality parameters
Participate in site planning, job hazard analysis reviews, toolbox talks, and site walks
Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal legal requirements
Conduct and document operational project meetings
Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor agreements
Evaluate submittals against contract drawings and specifications
Coordinate quality assurance and quality control
Manage project scope coordination through the Building Information Management Department
Set up project finances, including equipment, labor, materials, direct job costs, and subcontracts
Conduct monthly project cost reviews and monitor schedule and budget deviations
Manage accounts receivable, pay applications, billings, and collections
Manage accounts payable and coordinate timely vendor and subcontractor payments
Obtain and coordinate lien waivers, state notifications, tax documentation, and permits
Manage change control to align budget and scope
Attend jobsite meetings, schedule deliveries, document site activities, review labor reports, requisition rentals and materials, track RFIs, assist with permitting and inspections, approve invoices, and prepare status reports and monthly billings
Maintain relationships with internal teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors
Monitor risk management items, contracts, insurance policies, and bonds
Manage close-out documentation, warranties, and owner-training items
Manage warranty work when applicable
Coordinate start-up and commissioning processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in hyperscale data center construction
5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and/or project management, mechanical construction, or facilities management
Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of construction technologies, scheduling, equipment, materials and methods, and financial management
Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Leadership skills and willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
Resourcefulness and focus on safety, field and financial performance, and client expectations
Must work at the job site/office location
