About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead yearly regional quality business planning and establish goals and objectives
- Implement quality business plan goals and support the regional business plan
- Lead and participate in corporate quality programs and develop corporate quality goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the Quality Group to improve the Company's quality program
- Manage quality analytics and metrics in quality tracking software and partner with Corporate Internal Controls to manage risk
- Provide monthly regional/divisional project quality dashboards and quarterly quality metrics to executive leadership
- Communicate quality best practices, lessons learned, field updates, incidents, newsletters, and project summaries
- Identify, coordinate, and oversee quality training and support corporate training
- Assist in hiring quality professionals and support their development
- Support project personnel in implementing Quality Program policies and procedures
- Participate in developing and implementing Site Specific Quality Plans, Water Incident Prevention Programs, MEP Programs, and multi-trade rack fabrication
- Conduct project site visits and evaluations
- Build relationships with quality associations and business leaders within the market
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering OR high school diploma and equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience working on commercial, healthcare, hospitality, education, water, or industrial projects, with a combined value of over $200M+
- Previous experience related to quality assurance and quality control process implementation
- Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, and self-perform work
- Experience with BlueBeam, Autodesk/BIM 360, Procore, or related software/systems
- General knowledge of construction principles, practices, materials, methods, tools, and equipment
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work with project partners and multiple shared service teams
- Ability to motivate, develop, and direct people
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Industry and competitor knowledge
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
- Willingness to travel 90% of the time to job sites/offices in North LA and South Florida
- Ability to perform physical requirements including climbing stairs, prolonged sitting/standing/kneeling, repetitive hand motions, and moving objects up to 20 pounds
