About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support all operational aspects of construction projects in collaboration with regional leadership
- Set standards to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met
- Implement the strategic goals of the Senior Vice President, IS Delivery Region
- Report directly to the Senior Vice President, IS Delivery Region
- Enforce company policies and procedures across field operations
- Align field operations with strategic vision and growth objectives
- Provide expertise in planning, resource allocation, and operational strategies
- Champion safety compliance with OSHA, ICRA, company policies, and industry best practices
- Coordinate safety training, incident reporting, and risk mitigation with HSE
- Monitor safety metrics and lead zero-incident initiatives
- Review project execution, scheduling, and resource management
- Implement standardized processes, technology, and workflow improvements
- Coordinate project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors
- Develop quality control standards, inspection procedures, and quality assurance protocols
- Resolve quality issues promptly
- Manage subcontractor relationships, selection, negotiations, evaluations, and performance risks
- Oversee preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and project risk management
- Guide labor, equipment, and material utilization
- Build and lead field operations teams
- Mentor and develop superintendents and project managers
- Serve as primary contact for key clients
- Support client relationships and repeat business with development, sustainability, and project management teams
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Provide preconstruction guidance on delivery strategies and project execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related area
- Minimum 15 years' experience managing large, complex commercial construction projects
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience with healthcare facilities or educational campuses
- Proven success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Strong mentoring and coaching experience with teams of diverse expertise levels
- Ability to multitask as an entrepreneurial team player
- Superior management skills and ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
- Self-reliant, results-oriented problem solver
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to interface effectively with senior management, corporate management, and staff
- Ability to operate as both a tactical and strategic thinker
- Passion for the Company mission
- HCAI experience preferred
- Ability to travel 50%–75% of the time to job sites and office locations
