About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop policies for preparing cost estimates for product manufacturing and services
Assess the cost-effectiveness of products and services
Track actual costs as the project develops
Collaborate with leaders from other departments to formulate estimates and resolve issues
Assess cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation
Administer established policies and procedures
Contribute to departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of mechanical installation experience
Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles
Ability to perform complex tasks following established processes
Effective leadership and organization skills
Ability to exercise good judgment and creativity
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of the industry and the Company's competitors
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
Preferred: At least 10 years of experience installing mechanical systems or working for a mechanical contractor
Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time to job sites/office locations
Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
Ability to climb stairs
Ability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
