About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal support to Development, Delivery, Sustainability, and Corporate groups on transactional, contract, and litigation issues
- Assist with litigation, including document review and discovery
- Assist with notice and demand letters and responses
- Conduct legal research and writing
- Identify proactive solutions to eliminate or mitigate risks
- Work with diverse business leaders on complex legal matters
- Report to various Associate General Counsels
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current Law Student
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- Excellent business judgment and appropriate decision-making ability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Ability to synthesize and discuss complex matters
- Adherence to ethical principles and strict compliance with confidentiality obligations
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of business leaders
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Up to 5% travel to job site(s)/office location
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to remain stationary, often kneeling, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
- Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
