About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end procurement and contracting activities for complex projects
  • Develop and execute Project Procurement Plans
  • Draft, review, negotiate, redline, and finalize contracts, amendments, master service agreements, purchase agreements, and subcontract agreements
  • Advise project teams on sourcing strategies, supplier selection, contract terms, and procurement best practices
  • Lead RFP, RFI, and RFQ competitive sourcing events
  • Conduct commercial evaluations, supplier benchmarking, total cost of ownership analyses, and contract negotiations
  • Establish and manage supplier qualification and onboarding processes
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, cost savings, process improvement, and supply chain optimization opportunities
  • Support scopes of work, procurement schedules, bid packages, and contract exhibits
  • Collaborate with project controls, engineering, construction, finance, and legal teams
  • Identify procurement risks, supply constraints, market trends, and supplier challenges and develop mitigation strategies
  • Support supply chain reporting, spend analysis, forecasting, supplier diversity initiatives, and compliance requirements
  • Manage and direct procurement and supply chain personnel
  • Support enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives and strategic supplier relationship management programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, contracting, supply chain management, or project procurement
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years supporting large-scale construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or EPC projects
  • Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, service contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements
  • Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies for high-value capital projects
  • Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract administration
  • Experience managing supplier performance through KPIs and continuous improvement processes
  • Advanced analytical, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of contract risk allocation and commercial terms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under aggressive project schedules
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and procurement, ERP, and supply chain management systems
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams
  • 20–35% travel required
  • Preferred: CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification
  • Preferred: Experience supporting energy infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, or industrial services organizations
  • Preferred: Experience with strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier development initiatives
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and cost management principles
