About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the full lifecycle of Monitoring-Based Commissioning engagements across healthcare and higher-education facilities
  • Assist with site onboarding, BAS/point mapping, platform go-live, fault detection, diagnostics, and ongoing service delivery
  • Participate in meetings with client facilities and engineering teams to define project scope, onboarding timelines, and reporting cadences
  • Coordinate with analysts and engineers to track fault resolution, energy savings validation, and project milestones against client SLAs
  • Help ensure onboarding and ongoing service work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Assist with selecting, negotiating, and coordinating controls contractors, integrators, and subcontractors
  • Support resource scheduling across assigned client sites
  • Track onboarding milestones, energy savings targets, and MBCx performance indicators
  • Prepare and deliver status reports to management under the supervision of a PM II or III
  • Develop working knowledge of MBCx tools, policies, fault detection workflows, chiller plant diagnostics, and demand response participation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Construction, Facilities Management, or Energy
  • Knowledge of Project Management through a college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of technical staff
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to use multiple software platforms, including financial and project management software
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree in a technical discipline, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Preferred: Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Preferred experience in controls, construction, facilities management, and energy sectors
  • Preferred: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification
  • Ability to interpret engineering documents and drawings and understand construction contract requirements
  • Internal candidates must have successfully completed Project Management training
  • Ability to travel 5–10% of the time to job sites/office location
  • Ability to climb stairs, remain stationary for prolonged periods, perform repetitive wrist/hand/finger motions, and adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
