About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce pricing design documents for budgets and value engineering
- Produce construction design documents when Bernhard Engineering is the EOR
- Develop conceptual design strategies and associated documentation
- Assist senior engineers with technical solutions for operations teams
- Conduct code research and product research
- Prepare detail drawings and calculations
- Provide mentoring to other employees
- Present to groups of three or more
- Report to the Director of Engineering
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of experience
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineering License
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- Ability to present to groups of three or more
- Ability to work prolonged periods at a desk and computer
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to kneel, stand, or sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions
- Ability to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
