About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead business development, contract negotiations, and high-level execution of a particular project
Manage project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and project management
Manage project team members, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinators; teams may range from 10–50 employees
Champion project safety and risk management
Mentor and train project managers
Monitor financial budgets and labor productivity goals
Maintain detailed knowledge of project requirements and deliverables
Understand building processes and systems
Manage cost control, billings, collections, change management, and monthly status reports
Estimate, budget, and forecast project costs
Serve as key point of contact for BIM and Fabrication business units
Ensure project completion, financial performance, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction
Review monthly financial reports and project manager cost reviews; analyze deviations and resolve issues
Keep business unit operations and business unit managers informed of major issues and plans
Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and owners

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 Yr. degree in Engineering or applicable field work experience in HVAC and Plumbing
Minimum 5 yrs. verifiable Project Management experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
Ability to work only at the specified job site(s)/office location
Ability to climb stairs
Ability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Ability to move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another
Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
