About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee implementation aspects of delivery projects and ensure safe, quality outcomes meeting or exceeding company commitments
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment through site planning, safety plan review, JHA approvals, toolbox talks, and site walks
  • Assist the Senior Project Manager and Construction Manager in ensuring project scope, code, and project requirements are met
  • Coordinate management of GMP, Lump Sum, or Concession Agreement contracts and project budgets
  • Manage contract requirements including bonds, insurance, notifications, schedules, reporting, costs, and energy savings requirements
  • Set up and manage Procore for change management and document control
  • Negotiate and prepare vendor purchase orders and subcontracts
  • Participate in development hand-off meetings and establish project goals and client expectations
  • Establish site utilization plans, baseline schedules, project schedules of values, and quality assurance plans
  • Prepare monthly project reports and cost reviews
  • Lead change management from RFI affect letters, drawing revisions, and client directives through resolution
  • Lead project meetings and document agendas and minutes
  • Maintain project schedules, mitigate issues, and manage risk log items
  • Build customer relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Participate in industry organizations and community opportunities
  • Manage and develop Assistant Project Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering OR applicable field experience and 3+ years of experience
  • Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Emerging leadership skills
  • Willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
  • Resourcefulness and focus on safety, financial performance, and client expectations
  • Ability to multitask and perform additional duties as necessary
  • Ability to work outdoors in precipitation and wind
  • Ability to work in noisy and quiet environments
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
  • Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Ability to move between worksites
  • Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
  • Willingness to travel to job sites/office locations 25–40% of the time
