About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, analyze, and ensure the integrity of project schedules throughout assigned project phases
  • Lead scheduling execution for small-to-medium projects or defined scopes within larger projects
  • Prepare proposal, bid, milestone, baseline, Level III, and Level IV schedules
  • Integrate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, subcontractor, client, resource, quantity, and progress information into schedules
  • Lead schedule setup, mobilization, status collection, validation, updates, and quality reviews
  • Serve as the primary Primavera P6 subject matter expert for assigned projects
  • Identify schedule issues, analyze root causes, and develop mitigation, recovery, acceleration, and what-if scenarios
  • Perform critical path, float, variance, milestone, resource, productivity, trend, risk, delay, and time-impact analyses
  • Develop look-ahead schedules, narratives, manpower histograms, progress curves, dashboards, KPIs, and management reports
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate schedule status, constraints, risks, and required actions
  • Integrate schedule information with cost, cash flow, forecasting, earned value, revenue recognition, billing, margin, and financial reporting
  • Support schedule risk management, change management, claims evaluations, energy performance milestones, and corrective actions
  • Maintain traceable schedule records, baselines, updates, narratives, and supporting documentation
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, mentoring, and training on scheduling practices and Primavera P6
  • Apply enterprise project controls standards and support continuous improvement, automation, analytics, and special initiatives
  • Report to and work under the direction of the Project Controls Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related technical field; experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience with increasing responsibility
  • Experience with Gantt charts, Critical Path Analysis, and methodology
  • Effective leadership in planning/scheduling activities on projects
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of EPC/full-service project delivery processes
  • Independent, proactive, accurate, with strong analytical and organizing skills
  • Experience implementing and effectively using company-standard planning/scheduling systems such as Primavera
  • Experience with Accumen Fuse is a plus but not required
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to climb stairs, remain stationary for prolonged periods, and perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions
  • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
