About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, baseline, maintain, update, and analyze network-logic-driven project schedules from proposal and milestone-level plans through detailed execution schedules
  • Serve as the primary scheduling resource and Primavera P6 subject matter expert for assigned projects
  • Lead scheduling setup and mobilization, including schedule architecture, work breakdown structures, calendars, coding, responsibility assignments, update cadence, and contractual requirements
  • Integrate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, subcontractor, client, resource, quantity, and progress information into project schedules
  • Collect and validate schedule status and update actual progress, durations, logic, constraints, milestones, resources, quantities, and forecast dates
  • Perform schedule quality reviews, health assessments, critical-path, float, variance, resource, productivity, trend, risk, delay, and time-impact analyses
  • Develop look-ahead schedules, narratives, manpower histograms, progress curves, quantity curves, dashboards, KPIs, milestone reports, and management reports
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate schedule status, drivers, constraints, risks, and required actions
  • Develop mitigation, recovery, acceleration, and what-if scenarios and monitor action plans through resolution
  • Support cost management, cash-flow forecasting, earned value, estimate-at-completion, revenue recognition, margin, billing, accrual, and month-end alignment processes
  • Facilitate schedule risk identification, assessment, documentation, monitoring, and mitigation
  • Administer schedule-related change management, including scope changes, trends, claims, delays, prolongation, acceleration, and recovery actions
  • Incorporate energy production, savings, commissioning, performance verification, and contractual milestones into applicable schedules
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, mentoring, and training on Primavera P6, scheduling processes, governance, and standards
  • Maintain traceable schedule records, templates, coding structures, reporting standards, dashboards, and best practices
  • Apply enterprise planning and scheduling standards and support continuous improvement, automation, analytics, and special Project Controls initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related technical field; experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience with increasing responsibility
  • Experience with Gantt charts, Critical Path Analysis, and critical path methodology
  • Effective leadership in planning/scheduling activities on projects
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of EPC/full-service project delivery processes
  • Independent, proactive, accurate, with strong analytical and organizing skills
  • Experience implementing and effectively using company-standard planning/scheduling systems such as Primavera
  • Experience with Accumen Fuse is a plus but not required
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
  • Up to 25% travel to project sites, client locations, regional offices, and company facilities
  • Ability to climb stairs
  • Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
