About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all aspects of implementation for a Delivery Project or portion of an IS Delivery Project
- Manage project financial aspects, subcontractors, vendors, client relationships, and safe, quality outcomes
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment through site planning, Safety Plan review, JHA approvals, toolbox talks, and site walks
- Serve as the key resource for the Project Executive and Vice President on project scope, code requirements, and project requirements
- Manage project budgets and contract delivery types, including GMP, Lump Sum, and Concession Agreements
- Manage contract requirements including bonds, insurance, notifications, schedules, reporting, costs, and energy savings requirements
- Set up and oversee Procore for change management and document control according to company SOPs
- Negotiate and prepare vendor purchase orders and subcontracts
- Lead development hand-off meetings to establish project goals, parameters, and client expectations
- Oversee site utilization plans focused on cleanliness, access control, and safety
- Oversee baseline schedules emphasizing energy savings requirements and milestones
- Ensure accurate monthly project reports and cost reviews using job management and accounting platforms
- Implement project-specific quality assurance plans and documentation
- Maintain and execute change management processes for RFIs, drawing revisions, and client directives
- Create and distribute agendas and meeting minutes for project meetings
- Manage mitigation plans for risk log items
- Collaborate with leadership across all divisions
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Participate in industry organizations and community activities to promote the company and its goals
- Manage and develop Project Managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering OR applicable field experience
- 8+ years of experience
- Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership skills and willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
- Ability to multitask and perform additional duties as necessary
- Willingness and ability to travel 40–60% of the time to job sites and office locations
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
