About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all aspects of implementation for a Delivery Project or portion of an IS Delivery Project
- Manage project financial aspects, subcontractors/vendors, client relationships, and safe, quality outcomes
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment through site planning, Safety Plan reviews, JHA approvals, toolbox talks, and site walks
- Serve as the key resource for the Project Executive and Vice President, ensuring scope, code, and project requirements are met
- Manage project budgets and contract delivery types, including GMP, Lump Sum, and Concession Agreements
- Manage contract requirements including bonds, insurance, notifications, schedules, reporting, costs, and energy savings requirements
- Oversee Procore setup for change management and document control procedures
- Negotiate and prepare vendor purchase orders and subcontracts
- Lead the development-to-project hand-off meeting
- Oversee site utilization planning, baseline scheduling, quality assurance, change management, meeting documentation, and risk mitigation
- Prepare monthly project reports and cost reviews with project leadership
- Collaborate with division leadership, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project teams
- Build and maintain customer relationships aligned with client and company energy goals
- Participate in industry organizations and community activities to promote the company
- Manage and develop all Project Managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering OR applicable field experience
- 8+ years of experience
- Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership skills and willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
- Resourcefulness and focus on safety, financial performance, and client expectations
- Ability to multitask and perform additional duties as necessary
- Willingness and ability to travel 40–60% of the time to job sites/office locations
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger motions
- Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
- Must meet applicable U.S. employment eligibility requirements; employer participates in the e-Verify program
