About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee all aspects of implementation for a Delivery Project or portion of an IS Delivery Project
  • Manage project financials, subcontractors, vendors, client relationships, and safe, quality outcomes
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment through site planning, Safety Plan reviews, JHA approvals, toolbox talks, and site walks
  • Serve as key resource for the Project Executive and Vice President to ensure scope, code, and project requirements are met
  • Manage project budgets and contract delivery types, including GMP, Lump Sum, and Concession Agreements
  • Manage contract requirements including bonds, insurance, notifications, schedules, reporting, costs, and energy savings requirements
  • Set up and oversee Procore Job Management System for change management and document control
  • Negotiate and prepare vendor purchase orders and subcontracts
  • Lead the development-to-project hand-off meeting
  • Oversee site utilization and safety plans
  • Establish and oversee baseline project schedules, including energy savings milestones
  • Produce monthly project reports and cost reviews using job management and accounting platforms
  • Implement project-specific quality assurance plans and documentation
  • Manage change processes involving RFIs, drawing revisions, and client directives
  • Create and distribute agendas and meeting minutes
  • Mitigate project risks and communicate plans to project leadership
  • Collaborate with leadership across all divisions
  • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Participate in industry organizations and community activities
  • Manage and develop Project Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering OR applicable field experience
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership skills and willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
  • Resourcefulness and ability to maintain focus on safety, financial performance and client expectations
  • Ability to multitask and perform additional duties as necessary
  • Willingness and ability to travel 40–60% of the time to job sites/office locations
  • Ability to climb stairs
  • Ability to remain standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
