About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide overall direction for field installation of assigned projects
  • Maintain direct responsibility for field labor, labor coordination, quality control, and safety
  • Represent the company at the project site
  • Ensure installations function as designed and satisfy the contracted scope
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings
  • Perform plan reading, coordination, layout, sketching, and material take-offs
  • Order, receive, place, and return materials, tools, and equipment
  • Confirm construction drawings and specifications align with contract scope
  • Respond to general contractor requests regarding scope limits
  • Manage trade stacking, phasing, and project scheduling influence
  • Load manpower and maintain the two-week look-ahead schedule
  • Perform timekeeping and administrative duties, including daily reports, submittal logs, and RFI status tracking
  • Implement and ensure the effectiveness of safety and company programs
  • Ensure building code compliance
  • Forecast labor and material costs with the project team
  • Maintain quality control

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience managing 5 or more crews of 2–3 workers each
  • Verifiable experience working on projects of $500K or more
  • Minimum of 3 years of craft supervision experience in similar facility construction
  • Advanced knowledge of how jobs are assembled in the field
  • Ability to manage to budget and plan to schedule while meeting or exceeding project deadlines and prioritizing safety
  • Ability to influence workers to follow company methods and ensure installations reflect the company brand
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and willing to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the industry and the company's competitors
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary
  • Ability to travel 0–5% of the time to job sites or office locations
  • Ability to climb stairs, perform repetitive wrist/hand/finger motions, move through tight or confined spaces, and work in outdoor, noisy, high- and low-temperature environments
  • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
