About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute technical development and operation tasks for company technology-based products supporting Energy as a Service and Integrated Solutions
Work as an individual contributor on an agile software development team with scrum master, product owner, and internal or external developers
Collaborate with technical and non-technical company employees and external consultants
Execute software development tasks independently or in a self-directed manner
Follow development policies and procedures for testing, quality control, coding, and documentation
Contribute to ongoing maintenance and operation of company technology products
Develop innovative systems for collecting, computing, and storing energy and telemetry data within the Connect platform
Use IoT, data science, machine learning, cloud, and front-end user interface technologies
Engage with internal and external customers
Participate in non-software engineering projects to understand the use and value of software products

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience working on a professional software development team
Willingness to engage and learn basics of different EaaS business fields as needed for development
Strong technical and analytical skills
Good communication skills, with willingness to improve
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Strong desire to continually grow and develop professionally
Proficiency with multiple technologies and languages
Experience with agile software development processes
Proficiency with source code management systems such as Git
Experience with software quality control including unit testing
Experience developing single-page web applications using Angular 2+ framework
Experience with agile management tools such as Azure DevOps
Experience with C#
Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and other scripting languages
Preferred: MS in Computer Science or related field
Preferred: Experience developing with Microsoft Azure
Preferred: Experience deploying to critical production environments
Preferred: Experience setting up and deploying code using CI/CD pipelines
Ability to travel 25% of the time to job sites/office locations
Ability to perform listed physical requirements
