About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical components/equipment
- Perform service projects and small jobs from beginning to completion
- Ensure total customer satisfaction throughout service projects
- Install and commission a wide variety of HVAC equipment
- Maintain HVAC equipment, including atmospheric boilers and water-cooled chillers
- Service and repair energy recovery ventilators, hydronic AHUs, and FCUs
- Establish and maintain clear communications with customers on and off customer job sites
- Assist with inventory maintenance and tool procurement for the individual service vehicle
- Promote and perform all company safety procedures and policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-6 years HVAC experience
- Current Licensed Technician (mandatory) or verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC systems
- EPA Certification
- Skills of Level II Technician
- Cooling tower service
- Annual maintenance and gearbox replacement and alignment
- Water cooled chiller annual maintenance
- Understanding and troubleshooting of hydronic systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles
- Ability to operate machinery, power tools, and motor vehicles
- Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
