About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure accurate daily employee time tracking for the region
- Track paid time off, holiday pay, and approved/unpaid time off
- Contact project team supervision regarding missed or improperly coded time
- Run weekly payroll reports and submit them to project teams for approval
- Export weekly payroll reports from the timesheet platform into the accounting system
- Verify report conversions and confirm straight-time and overtime hours
- Submit required documents to the Payroll processor on time
- Maintain and procure office supplies with manager approval
- Assist with new-hire onboarding and IT hardware and permissions requests
- Maintain electronic project files related to payroll and time entry
- Review and distribute documents and correspondence to field personnel and other key parties
- Communicate relevant time issues and information to the project team
- Manage the parking pass process when applicable
- Perform other administrative functions as requested
- Professionally represent the Bernhard team by understanding and acting according to company core values
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of administrative experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Well versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Construction administrator experience preferred
- College-level coursework and/or two years' experience in construction management preferred
- Construction billing experience preferred; AIA billing/Textura ideal
- Able to work with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
- Able to climb stairs
- Able to remain stationary, kneel, stand, or sit for prolonged periods
- Able to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions
- Able to adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
