About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all phases of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, reporting, implementation, and closeout
  • Serve as the primary on-site and remote representative and point of contact for customers
  • Travel to customer facilities to oversee field operations, installations, equipment upgrades, commissioning activities, and service-related projects
  • Coordinate activities among customers, subcontractors, vendors, field technicians, and internal departments
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, manpower plans, and completion targets
  • Monitor project scope, budgets, timelines, labor utilization, and performance
  • Conduct project meetings, customer updates, field coordination meetings, and status reviews
  • Ensure field activities comply with safety standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Identify project risks, troubleshoot field issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage schedules, reports, change orders, meeting minutes, and customer communications
  • Maintain customer relationships through proactive communication and professional leadership
  • Support continuous improvement in project execution, field operations, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and project delivery
  • Assist with project estimating, resource planning, and pre-project coordination
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
  • 3–5 years of project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, automation, mechanical, electrical, or field service environments preferred
  • Experience in injection molding, plastics processing, or related manufacturing environments strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with injection molding equipment, auxiliary equipment, and related manufacturing processes preferred
  • Experience managing projects at customer or industrial facilities strongly preferred
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, field labor, vendors, and cross-functional project teams preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in fast-paced environments
  • Strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in field environments
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and adapt to evolving project conditions
  • Working knowledge of industrial safety practices and job site procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret project schedules, scopes of work, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across departments and customer organizations
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet project deadlines
  • Ability to work in industrial, manufacturing, and construction-related environments
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, and navigate active job sites for extended periods
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to travel frequently by vehicle and air transportation
  • Approximately 75% travel required, including frequent overnight travel and extended periods at customer facilities throughout the United States
