About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare studies and analyses on the current regulatory framework for the electricity sector, identifying risks and opportunities for the company
  • Prepare technical contributions for public hearings and regulatory improvements proposed by sector authorities
  • Ensure the flow of activities for connecting plants under construction, ensuring compliance with construction schedules
  • Support the development of new business through regulatory opinions and guidance for economic and financial modeling
  • Represent the company in technical forums, associations, and institutions within Brazil’s electricity sector
  • Ensure the commissioning of new power plants through engagement with regulatory authorities
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental Management regulations in the processes under your responsibility

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Exact Sciences, or Applied Social Sciences
  • Basic knowledge of technical and economic regulation in Brazil’s electricity sector
  • Familiarity with energy trading rules at CCEE and with market and pricing scenarios
  • Intermediate proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office
  • Intermediate English proficiency
  • Analytical profile, with sound technical reasoning, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
  • Ability to organize activities and manage deadlines in environments involving multiple stakeholders
  • Preferred: Engineering degree with an emphasis on electric power systems
