About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and implement the category procurement strategy through market analysis, competitive intelligence, and risk assessment.
  • Lead strategic sourcing processes valued at over BRL 3 million, conducting negotiations and contracting efficiently and in compliance with applicable policies.
  • Manage relationships with strategic suppliers, conducting performance evaluations based on quality, cost, service levels, and ESG indicators.
  • Coordinate alignment among internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring the proper implementation of Procurement policies and guidelines.
  • Support the Category Manager in developing the category profile, including demand analysis, supplier mapping, and SWOT analysis.
  • Monitor results, consolidate savings, and report performance, pursuing continuous improvement and value creation for the business.
  • Track technological, regulatory, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation across the supply chain.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in strategic procurement, contract management, and supplier negotiations in the high-voltage or transmission infrastructure sector.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to lead frequent meetings and report to teams in Europe.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and data analysis applied to contracts and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of project management and the legal aspects of contracts.
  • Strategic and holistic understanding of the transmission business, with an analytical, results-oriented profile.
  • Excellent communication and resilience, with the ability to build relationships in multicultural environments.
