About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work within a middleware team in the Infrastructure Department
- Design and evolve the technical and solution architecture surrounding GoAnywhere MFT
- Define security, encryption, and access management policies
- Translate business requirements into robust, secure, and well-documented architectures
- Validate and model the functional and technical design of complex data exchange flows
- Make informed technical decisions between MFT solutions and web/API services
- Develop a migration strategy for legacy flows and support its implementation
- Lead communication, awareness, and training initiatives for project teams and internal stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in solution architecture, with a specialization in GoAnywhere MFT
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong eye for detail
- Strong command of solution and infrastructure architecture
- Excellent communication, knowledge-transfer, and change-management skills
- Good knowledge of systems, networks, storage, and cloud environments
- Proficiency in SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, PeSIT, REST APIs, and SOAP protocols
- Strong knowledge of security and cryptography
- Proficiency with SSL/TLS certificates, SSH keys, and PKI management
- Strong command of the Fortra MFT suite, including clustering, workflows, forms, connectors, gateways, and related modules
- Ability to frame major technical decisions and make sound, well-founded recommendations
- Proficiency in both French and English is required
