About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design AI roadmaps with client leadership and own them through production
Create and implement AI solution architectures
Set and uphold Data Platform and MLOps standards across the client portfolio
Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring, team growth, and account development
Advance the engineering practice, including agentic coding workflows
Test, document, and share effective engineering practices
Promote a product mindset focused on building the right solutions
Own the technical roadmap of client engagements
Embed with engineering teams at European technology scale-ups
Take ownership of the full technical lifecycle from architecture through long-term production operation

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years building and scaling data & AI solutions in production environments
Strong software engineering fundamentals
Production-grade coding experience
Infrastructure experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and data pipelines
Mastery of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience leading MLOps/LLMOps architectures
Proven experience taking LLM-based or agentic systems to production
Experience mentoring engineers, overseeing delivery, and managing client accounts
Ability to translate technical complexity into clear decisions for non-technical stakeholders
Fluent in English
Eligible to work in the Netherlands
