Contracts Manager, Services

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement category management strategies aligned with organizational objectives, project pipelines, operational requirements, market conditions, and business growth initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, including commercial evaluation, contract negotiation, supplier selection, and implementation.
- Maintain knowledge of supplier markets, industry trends, supply chain constraints, pricing dynamics, geopolitical influences, and emerging technologies.
- Structure and execute RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and supplier negotiations using data-driven evaluation methods.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, purchase agreements, and related contract terms.
- Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships to improve performance, service delivery, innovation, and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, operations, finance, legal, IT, and executive stakeholders.
- Establish supplier performance metrics and KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Execute cost optimization, process improvement, standardization, and value-creation initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop employees through hiring, training, and mentorship.

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, business, finance, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contract management, or related.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
- Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, operational requirements, and market conditions.
- Ability to lead supplier evaluations, competitive sourcing events, and contract negotiations.
- Ability to analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, and supplier capabilities.
- Ability to build and manage strategic supplier relationships.
- Ability to assess and mitigate commercial, operational, and supply chain risks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead highly effective teams, internally and externally.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel 10%.
