Design and deploy scalable, high-performance solutions across the backend, frontend, and broader technology stack
Establish architectural standards for reliability, security, and performance
Design agentic workflows that plan, call tools, and run multi-step tasks in production
Stay close to customers, understand their workflows and difficult problems, and bring that context into architecture and roadmap decisions
Lead and mentor engineers across backend, frontend, and the AI platform
Promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions
Own the lifecycle of complex, multi-area projects
Ensure timely, high-quality delivery and resolve difficult technical issues
Manage technical debt while maintaining project momentum
Document architectural designs and decisions
Share knowledge to help the team build, debug, and learn faster

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
14+ years of experience, including 4+ years in a principal or architect-level role
Deep expertise designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems
Strong command of software design patterns and architectural best practices
Expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Python, Node.js, and Java
Strong knowledge of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Hands-on experience building and shipping GenAI or AI-agent capabilities in production
Experience connecting models to tools, APIs, and search for multi-step workflows
Experience with retrieval and semantic search is a strong plus
Good instincts for maintaining AI output accuracy while managing cost and latency
Fluency with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Comfort with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices
