About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, upgrade, and support the JD Edwards technical foundation
- Provide day-to-day support to end-users, Application Programmers, and Business Analysts
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Perform system maintenance
- Develop and support system automation
- Optimize system performance
- Support technical upgrades, migrations, and implementations
- Work remotely with minimal travel to client locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science (or higher) degree in a technical field preferred
- Ability to work as an effective team member in support of the organization's goals
- Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5+ years of consulting experience, including technical support, technical upgrades, migrations, and implementations
- 1+ years experience with JD Edwards application software through E1 9.x
- Available for minimal travel to client location
- 5+ years of Technical JDE CNC consulting
- 3+ years of JD Edwards application software
- 1+ years of structured query language (SQL)
- 4+ years of System Administration with JD Edwards E1
- Installation & Upgrade experience with J2EE application servers (WebSphere -Application Server, Oracle Application Server or WebLogic Application Server)
- Installation & Configuration experience with Business Services
- Installation and Upgrade experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on Windows, Unix, Linux or AS/400
- Experience installing/supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Business Services (BSSV) and JDE Orchestrator
- Proficiency in using SQL to troubleshoot database issues
- Experience with server monitoring tools like BMC Patrol or Site Scop
