About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the vision, roadmap, budget allocation, bid strategy, partner mix, testing agenda, performance, and efficiency for SEM and affiliate channels
  • Recruit, vet, onboard, and manage affiliate partners and networks
  • Structure and negotiate commission and payout models
  • Conduct relationship and performance reviews and monitor brand bidding, lead quality, and fraud
  • Collaborate with data science, analytics, reporting, and BI teams to translate model outputs into channel decisions
  • Connect channel decisions to acquisition volume, efficiency, cost, profitability, unit economics, and P&L outcomes
  • Adopt and champion AI tools across research, analysis, creative, reporting, testing, and optimization
  • Identify new opportunities, channels, and partner relationships
  • Execute hands-on campaign builds, bid and budget management, keyword and audience strategy, affiliate partner management, and landing-page optimization
  • Design, prioritize, measure, and scale experiments across creative, bidding, and partners
  • Ensure paid search and affiliate activity complies with regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with Analytics, Finance, Creative, Product Marketing, Legal, and Compliance, and present recommendations and results to leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, specifically paid search / SEM and affiliate marketing
  • Proven track record of driving online conversions and customer acquisition
  • Strategic, ownership mindset with a history of identifying opportunities and driving solutions independently
  • Proven proficiency with AI tools and applying AI across analysis, reporting, creative, testing, and decision support
  • Hands-on fluency with paid search, AI/LLM, and affiliate platforms
  • Experience with Google Ads, Microsoft (Bing) Ads, Search Ads 360 or Marin, and affiliate networks/tracking platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance reporting and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics / GA4 and Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with SQL/BI tools
  • Ability to connect channel performance to business and P&L outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills
  • Experience aligning cross-functional teams and delivering on timelines
  • Self-starter and action-oriented approach
