About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement technical solutions to business problems
- Collaborate with engineers to build effective systems
- Learn from Lead Engineers and Architects
- Mentor junior developers
- Evaluate alternative solutions and drive selected solutions to completion
- Work with Product Management, Analytics, and Operations to deliver business value
- Design microservices

- Develop and maintain software features, enterprise architecture, and API integrations
- Oversee projects end-to-end, estimate work, and break problems into deliverable parts
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience with any programming language
- Ideally 2+ years of Rails experience
- Comfortable with AI agent harnesses and writing skills
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages
- Experience developing and maintaining asynchronous jobs and task queues, such as Sidekiq or similar frameworks
- Ability to solve problems in more than one language and determine which is better
- Expertise in building software features, enterprise architecture, and API integration
- Project management skills, including overseeing projects end-to-end, estimating work, and breaking problems into deliverable parts
- Experience deploying multiple web applications from a full-stack perspective
- Experience collaborating with product managers to plan and scope products iteratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Nice to have: Ruby, Rails, Go, or PostgreSQL
- Nice to have: Finance domain experience
- Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
