About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in the full software development lifecycle over a 10-week internship
Work alongside Enova engineers in core agile teams
Contribute to business initiatives that deliver value to consumers
Complete an intensive software engineering boot camp
Work on high-visibility projects
Receive training in Ruby, Rails, GoLang, and other full-stack engineering technologies
Network with other interns through team outings, lunches, and events
Collaborate within full-stack Agile teams aligned to core business lines and services
Participate in hackathons, tech talks, monthly town halls, and affinity and advocacy groups

Requirements

What you’ll need

Acceptable graduation dates: December 2027–June 2028
Local to the Chicagoland area or willing to relocate
Working toward an undergraduate or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Passion for crafting exceptional code, using open source technologies, and continuous learning
Experience with object-oriented programming languages
Ability to collaborate with non-technical team members about progress, challenges, or new ideas
Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
