About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet with clinical and operations leaders to understand information needs
- Recommend effective ways to visualize information
- Develop insightful content supporting change through actionable information
- Combine data from data lakes, data warehouses, and external sources to create data sources and data marts
- Design and develop highly interactive self-service data tools using Tableau, Power BI, and similar BI applications
- Partner with business units to recommend solutions and automate effective data delivery
- Promote, document, and maintain enterprise Data Governance standards
- Manage BI platform upgrades and updates and maintain BI assets and data sources
- Develop and maintain security access to BI assets in compliance with organizational and IT security policies
- Develop validation processes between data sources and BI assets
- Support the Data Warehouse team with ETL and validation functions as needed
- Train and mentor team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS Degree required
- Specialty/major in Information Technology or Information Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau
- Proficiency with SQL
- Experience with various database programs
- Experience with ETL tools
- Comfort with MS Office
- Deep understanding of the healthcare system
- Experience working with clinicians, operations, and business leaders
- Must reside and be authorized to work within the United States
- Applications generated from outside the United States will not be considered
