About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide 2 to 3 product pods or initiative areas through the Product Development Lifecycle and maturity gates
- Ensure requirements are documented, entry and exit criteria are met, and gate reviews are prepared and decision-oriented
- Run planning cycles and recurring meetings that keep product teams aligned
- Identify, resolve, or escalate risks, dependencies, and blockers with options and recommendations
- Support budgets, forecasts, vendor coordination, value realization visibility, resource visibility, and executive status reporting
- Apply established product operations processes, tools, and standards
- Use enterprise AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to accelerate analysis, drafting, and program reporting
- Develop Product Program Management playbooks, templates, and operating norms
- Partner with Product and Innovation Leaders on execution and delivery rigor
- Provide feedback to Product Operations to improve processes, tools, and standards
- Coordinate activities surrounding Engineering sprint execution, including readiness, outcomes, issues, and cross-team dependencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-10 years of prior experience in product program management or product-oriented project management
- Experience driving software or technology products through a development lifecycle
- Fluency navigating a structured PDLC, including gate criteria and phase transitions
- Track record coordinating cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders without direct authority
- Executive status reporting experience
- Good judgment about escalation and communication with senior leadership
- Inquisitiveness and openness to innovation, including AI
- Willingness and ability to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require
- Candidates must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States
- Healthcare or revenue cycle management (RCM) experience preferred
- Familiarity with Aha!, monday.com, or Azure DevOps preferred
- Experience with an agile or similar scaled planning cadence preferred
- Prior involvement in standing up or maturing a PMO, program management, or product operations function preferred
