About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the self-pay accounts receivable process through the self-pay life cycle
- Manage bad debt inventory, placements, returns, transaction reconciliation, and vendor recall requests
- Oversee acute and PRC inventory management
- Review deceased accounts for proper handling and resolution
- Review and resolve statement holds
- Prepare and analyze self-pay aging performance reports and ATB review summaries
- Identify opportunities affecting aging self-pay accounts receivable
- Ensure billing and collections comply with federal, state, and local regulations
- Guide and support the self-pay operations team
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Provide detailed analysis and reports to leadership and external teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 to 3 years of required work experience
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire; company paid
- Must be inquisitive and open to innovation, including AI
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Microsoft Office experience
- Revenue Cycle knowledge
- Critical thinking
- 2 years/associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Must reside and be authorized to work within the United States
- Must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require
