About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare mapping deliverables supporting pipeline design projects from project kickoff through completion and delivery of as-built drawings
Create, develop, and verify preliminary, construction, and as-built drawings
Create, review, and validate drawings and base files for alignment sheets, property plats, permit drawings, HDD plans, typical details, vicinity maps, environmental and erosion control plans, and FERC submittals
Develop access road, haul road, NWI, soils, and topographic maps
Prepare hydrostatic test drawings
Assemble and deliver complete drawing packages to clients and contractors
Plot and integrate property deeds
Maintain master property and easement files
Use CAD and alignment sheet generation software to produce accurate and compliant drawings
Consult with project managers, engineers, and surveyors regarding project scope and required details
Participate in client and contractor meetings and represent the pipeline design team in multidisciplinary discussions
Self-check mapping deliverables before peer review and squad checking
Conform to company and client standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma required
Post-secondary education or technical certification (1-4 years) is preferred
Minimum of five years of direct experience in pipeline mapping
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D
Proficient in BlueSky Skyline or similar mapping platform
Must demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering error-free drawings and documents
