About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain data integrity of customer and loan information in loan applications and product packages
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers on new loan requests, renewals, modifications, and other customer requests
  • Serve as liaison with Compliance, Deposit Operations, Loan Documentation, Loan Servicing, and Post-Closing Review
  • Develop relationships with external customers and third-party vendors
  • Advise Relationship Managers on deviations from standard credit practices
  • Process loan requests through the Bank’s loan origination system
  • Complete annual renewals, new loan requests, and monthly reporting independently
  • Enter customer and loan information with attention to data integrity
  • Obtain pre-closing documentation including flood letters, title work, appraisals, entity documents, corporate searches, and credit bureau reports
  • Interact with clients to collect data, documents, and handle customer service requests
  • Review closed loan packages for unauthorized changes
  • Process post-approval Change Memos
  • Complete recordation and collateral perfection when applicable
  • Monitor and assist in clearing exception items
  • Provide guidance and training to other Loan Coordinators
  • Prepare monthly monitoring reports for the Unit and Relationship Manager team
  • Assist with daily overdrafts as needed
  • Assemble financial information for Credit Department analysis
  • Provide backup support during vacations and high-volume periods
  • Participate in internal committees and task forces
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ Consumer and Commercial Loan Coordinator experience required
  • Strong knowledge of C&I, CRE and Consumer lending processes and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility, versatility, commitment, and good judgment in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and proprietary bank systems
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Bankway, Salesforce, and Google Mail
  • Previous exposure to attorney-prepared documentation preferred
  • Associates degree preferred
