Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical estimating within commercial construction
  • Proficient in estimating software, such as Accubid, PlanSwift, or Syspro, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of NEC codes and industry standards
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost predictions
  • Proven track record of managing multiple estimates simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately in a remote or hybrid setting
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE), are a plus
