About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Transform engineering concepts into precise, high-quality CAD drawings
- Develop detailed construction plans, topographical profiles, and maps
- Plot cross-sections and contour data
- Join survey crews in the field to gather measurements
- Calculate rights-of-way and street layouts
- Design concrete and steel supports for pipeline systems
- Create preliminary and final sketches
- Refine drawings with engineering teams
- Produce as-built documents for completed projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- AutoCAD test required for selected candidates
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Excellent communication skills
- Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology strongly preferred
